Stacy and I enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon photo session at the railroad district in San Luis Obispo with Matt and Jeannie who happen to be pregnant with two girls. We have known these two love cats for several years now and are thankful for our relationship with them. Jeannie, along with her confident and effervescent personality, has shot weddings with me on the Central Coast for several years now. Stacy and myself are ever grateful for Matt, who was our son Cory’s youth group leader, proving a pivotal influence in his life along with countless other teens. Matt, along with his energetic and creative way,  can be found most evenings playing “live” acoustic music throughout the county. Their two daughters are and will be famously blessed to have the parents they do. Here are some more photos of their San Luis Obispo photo session.

Brooke and Greg, an amazingly sweet and fun-loving couple will be getting married this summer at the Dana Powers Barn, which is about a half hour drive south of San Luis Obispo.  In the mean time, we thought it only necessary to go out an capture some vintage Central Coast romance in the midst of the See Canyon Fruit Ranch, nestled deep within Avila Valley. Photographing couples such as Melissa and Chris reaffirm to me why I love to shoot weddings so much. After shooting their Engagement Session I knew right off what a fun-loving and relaxed couple they are and would be for their wedding. Thanks for a wonderful day you two. Enjoy.

Sweet, adj. 1. honey-sweet, enjoyable, fresh, pure, likable, gracious, attractive, winsome, lovable … All these words and more easily fit Kelly and Nathan’s personalities. It also helps that they are both amazingly fun-loving and comfortable in front of the camera. I look forward to shooting their wedding this summer at Edna Valley Vineyard. It’s always somewhat of a daunting task culling through the thousands of images from the past wedding season. It’s all worth it though, as I always wind up with a smile on my face and joy in my heart reflecting on all the incredible memories that were recorded.
