It’s always a treat to shoot Mountainbrook’s staff and family photos every year. Everyone is fun and easy to work with. This year was special as we recently relocated to our new church home, which sits upon a majestic mountaintop in San Luis Obispo. Stacy and I feel blessed in every way to be a part of Mountainbrook. Andrea and Wesley are an amazingly sweet couple and quite cute as well. We had a fun time exploring a wide array of colorful and creative shooting locations in the Village of Arroyo Grande. I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding next year at the Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach.

Nicole and Jason were married at the Holland Ranch in San Luis Obispo. I was honored to have photographed Nicole’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and was delighted to photograph Nicole’s wedding as well. Nicole has a super sweet, fun-loving family, (who love to dance their hearts out by the way). See pics of Nicole’s grandfather burning the barn floor up below. Jamie Strand who manages the Ranch along with her family is always a complete joy to work with. They always go out of their way to provide a top-notch experience for all involved. The entire day was magical. The setting, the quality of light, the deep spirit of love, joy and celebration all combined to make for one of my more memorable weddings of this year.
