Every now and then I enjoy taking photo field trips that allow me the freedom to shoot for myself. These are fun exercises that keep my stoke for photography alive. Last year I shot a series on “Signs”. Recently I added to my collection. Here are a few that caught my eye. The first two are of the old diner that sits off the side of the road just before Buellton. I had fun enhancing a bit with some of the TR actions. Enjoy.

I simply love to do engagement sessions! It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know the couple, explore all the amazing photographic nooks and crannies of the Central Coast and have a load of fun in the process. Here’s a few of my favorite engagement shots of 2007. Enjoy!

I just love shooting weddings. Ever since I shot my first wedding eight years ago, I look back at each year with a sense of gratefulness and appreciation for all the cool couples, venues and people I get to work with. In fact, I really don’t look at this thing called “wedding photography” as work, it’s more of a passion that I find great pleasure from. Culling through the thousands of images from this past year brought back memories of why I love to do what I do.

Here are a few of my favorites…

    Dear David,
When I look back on our wedding, working with you was one of my favorite parts. Your calmness, fun personality, and talent are only a few things that make you amazing. I wish you another year of perfect pictures in 2008.
    With love,
    Renee & David Marmolejo

A wonderful wedding to conclude my 2007 wedding season. Janette and Ken were married at the Lone Madrone Winery in Paso Robles. I had the pleasure of working with the following vendors: Rhonda Johnson, make-up and hair. Florals by Jessica from Flowers by Jessica. A beautiful couple, brilliant sunshine, vibrant colors and a day to remember. Enjoy
